The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic is a phone full of features. The camera is easy to use and takes good pictures, which can be easily transferred via Bluetooth to a computer or a printer. The MP3 player sounds great for a phone, and good for an mp3 player. The sound quality is significantly better when using headphones. Purple is darker than the name suggests, but it is a nice contrast to all phones metal available elsewhere. The phone is also wonderfully tactile - the navigation keys are responsive and easy to work. My husband and his sausage fingers had no trouble calling (has the black version). The slider mechanism works well and does not feel as if the phone can break. Its functions and quality of the phone is a bargain at this price.
The back of the phone is quality. My phone has arrived just before he worked, so that was a hole, which probably left in the dust, cat hair, and so on. Phone my husband has had more serious problems, which simply does not work - we seemed to be a map where you turn and then darkness. His second phone does not work either for the same reasons. Now we wait for the phone fifth in 10 days. According to my phone has gone well so far, but has received the use of light. I have yet to discover all the settings and I am pretty tech savvy and not easily intimidated by technology.
I do not know if the quality of these problems are Fluke or poor, even to come. I hope that for the first, of course.
